Talao Wallet

Talao Wallet is a Self-Sovereign Identity solution launched in 2021 that enables users to manage their digital identity and verifiable credentials. Built on the Tezos blockchain and powered by the Spruce Credible open-source SDK, the wallet implements several key technical standards including W3C Verifiable Credentials, W3C Decentralized Identifiers (DIDs), and OpenID Connect protocols.

The wallet's core technical features include support for multiple DID methods (did:key, did:web, did:ion, did:hedera, did:tz, did:pkh, did:ebsi), various credential formats (JSON-LD, JWT, SD-JWT), and integration with the European Blockchain Services Infrastructure (EBSI). All personal data is stored locally on users' devices, with the blockchain only used for identifier registration. The solution is open-source under an Apache-2 license and has achieved EBSI-V3 conformance for alignment with European digital identity standards.
