The Web of Trust Map displays information about companies, projects, and individuals in the digital identity space. This information is collected from publicly available sources, and each piece of information is linked to its public source.

Legal basis: We process this information based on legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) to provide a comprehensive visualization of the digital identity ecosystem.

1.2 Technical Data

We collect and process the following technical data:

• Browser Configuration Cookie: A single cookie that records whether you've been notified about Brave Shields compatibility
• Analytics Consent Cookie: A cookie (cc_cookie) that records your consent preferences for analytics
• Local Storage: We use IndexedDB to cache visualization data and node positions locally in your browser to improve performance. This data remains on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.
• DLT Profile Data: For DLT instance profile pages, we retrieve and cache data from Danube Tech GmbH's service (godiddy.com). When accessing these pages, your IP address may be visible to Danube Tech GmbH. You can learn more about their data processing in their Privacy Policy.
• Newsletter Signup: If you subscribe to our newsletter, your email address will be processed by Mailchimp, our email marketing platform. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in the footer of our emails.

1.3 Analytics (Opt-in)

If you explicitly consent, we use Google Analytics to collect usage statistics. This is disabled by default and only activated with your consent. If enabled, it may collect:
