Summary
Source

Indicio Proven is a comprehensive decentralized identity solution launched in July 2022 by Indicio that enables organizations to create, issue, and verify verifiable credentials while preserving privacy and security. Built on Hyperledger Indy and Hyperledger Aries codebases, the platform supports multiple credential formats including AnonCreds and W3C Verifiable Credentials.

The system's core components include Issuer and Verifier Agents for credential management, a Mobile SDK for digital wallet functionality, and Machine-Readable Governance for automated information flows. Notable implementations include a partnership with SITA and the government of Aruba to develop the Aruba Happy One Pass, a digital travel credential system that demonstrated a 64% reduction in manual passport information entry and 100% error-free clearance rates. The platform leverages several key protocols including DIDComm, OpenID4VC, and eIDAS 2.0 for interoperability.

Indicio Proven emphasizes open-source development and interoperability, allowing organizations to deploy solutions either on-premises or in cloud environments through providers like Google Cloud and Amazon Web Services. The platform supports various use cases across industries, from travel and finance to education, with features like selective disclosure and zero-knowledge proofs for enhanced privacy. Its companion mobile wallet application, Holdr+, enables users to store and manage their digital credentials while maintaining control over their personal data.

Tech Stack Self Description
Source
Indicio Proven is built on the Hyperledger Indy and Hyperledger Aries codebases, the most widely used open source code for interoperable, decentralized identity solutions, leveraging AnonCreds and W3C credentials – and with years of contributions from Indicio and the active developer community, the most robust and advanced. This makes Proven interoperable with other systems and components, so companies can build at a pace that meets their needs and scale as fast as they desire. And they get to do this on the systems they already own.
