XATP (eXtended ATP) is a digital identity framework launched in 2020 that enables secure authentication and communication between Authorized Trading Partners (ATPs) in the pharmaceutical supply chain. Built on W3C Verifiable Credentials and Decentralized Identifiers (DIDs), the system helps stakeholders comply with the Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA) requirements for trading partner verification and drug traceability.

XATP maintains interoperability through membership in the Open Credentialing Initiative (OCI), Partnership for DSCSA Governance (PDG), and Healthcare Distribution Alliance (HDA), working to establish standardized approaches for digital identity in pharmaceutical supply chains.
