Wise DID Authenticator is a self-sovereign identity and authentication software developed by Wise Security Global that leverages blockchain technology for decentralized digital identity management. The system implements W3C DID standards and integrates with One Identity's OneLogin platform to provide passwordless authentication and access management capabilities.

The solution uses decentralized credentials stored on blockchain to verify user identities and control access to protected systems and resources. Key technical features include:

  • Support for W3C Verifiable Credentials
  • Integration with multiple identity sources (AD, LDAP, databases)
  • Multi-factor authentication
  • Passwordless authentication
  • Decentralized identity management
  • Compliance with GDPR and eIDAS2 regulations

Notable implementations include identity management solutions for:

Cádiz CF - Digital identity system for club services
RFEF (Spanish Football Federation) - Fan club application
Betmedia - Age verification and user authentication

The project launched in 2023 and has received recognition through the One Identity Innovation Award of the Year for its integration with OneLogin. The solution represents an evolution in Identity and Access Management (IAM) by combining traditional authentication methods with Web3 technologies to give users greater control over their digital identities while maintaining security and privacy.
