Vlinder Labs, founded in 2020, develops blockchain-based digital identity and credentials solutions through its flagship product Klefki. The platform implements Self-Sovereign Identity principles to enable users to own, control, and share their digital credentials while maintaining privacy through features like selective disclosure and Zero Knowledge Proofs.

The technical architecture of Klefki is built on blockchain technology and adheres to W3C DID standards. The platform consists of three main components: a credential issuer system for organizations to create and distribute verified credentials, a mobile wallet application for users to store and manage their credentials, and a verification interface for service providers to validate shared credentials. Key features include biometric authentication, encrypted credential storage, and support for both individual credential sharing and bundled proof verification.
