SINGLEX DID (also known as Tidit) is a mobile identity service launched in 2020 by LG CNS that implements Self-Sovereign Identity principles through blockchain technology. The solution enables users to store and manage digital credentials on their smartphones while maintaining control over their personal information through decentralized identity technology.

The platform's core functionality centers around replacing physical employee ID cards with digital credentials that can be used for:

  • Building access authentication
  • Cafeteria and restaurant payments
  • Printer authentication
  • QR code-based credential presentation

The technical implementation utilizes:

  • Blockchain-based DID technology
  • W3C DID standards compatibility
  • Selective disclosure capabilities allowing users to share only required information
  • Decentralized data management where credential information is dispersed across user devices

A notable implementation was launched by LG CNS for their own employees in December 2022, where the DDIDID mobile ID service replaced plastic employee ID cards for building access and payments. The company plans to expand functionality to include commuter bus boarding, certificate issuance, and electronic contract signing capabilities.
