ONTO Wallet

ONTO Wallet is a decentralized multi-chain wallet application that implements Self-Sovereign Identity through integration with the Ontology blockchain's ONT ID protocol. Launched in 2022, it functions as both a cryptocurrency wallet and a decentralized identity management platform.

The wallet's core technical features include support for the W3C DID specification, cross-chain asset management across 70+ blockchain networks, and implementation of verifiable credentials using the Ontology network's trust framework. Users can create an ONT ID that enables one-click generation of wallet addresses across multiple chains while maintaining control of their private keys and identity data through encryption. The wallet has been audited by Feiyu-Tech for security compliance.

Notable integrations include partnerships with the China Financial Certification Authority (CFCA) for identity authentication services and support for multi-factor authentication including identity card verification, bank card authentication, and face recognition. The wallet allows users to export their credentials and private keys, maintaining true self-sovereignty over their digital identity and assets. Key privacy features include zero-knowledge proofs for credential verification and the ability to selectively disclose identity attributes through the ONT ID protocol's claim management system.
