Summary

OmniOne is a blockchain-based Decentralized Identity (DID) platform launched in 2020 by RaonSecure that combines FIDO authentication with distributed ledger technology. The platform implements core Self-Sovereign Identity principles through its integration of W3C DID standards, Verifiable Credentials, and Zero-Knowledge Proofs for selective disclosure of identity attributes.

The platform's technical architecture consists of:

  • A permissioned blockchain network for storing DIDs and metadata
  • FIDO-based authentication for biometric verification
  • A DID-oriented SDK compliant with international standards
  • A universal resolver for cross-platform DID verification
  • Built-in backup and recovery tools for credentials

Notable implementations include:

  • Mobile ID cards for the Korean Military Manpower Administration
  • Digital public service platform for South Gyeongsang Provincial Government
  • Student ID system for Chung-Ang University
  • Banking authentication for BNK Kyongnam Bank

The platform participates in the DID Alliance and Decentralized Identity Foundation while adhering to standards from W3C and ISO TC307. OmniOne focuses on government and enterprise adoption of Self-Sovereign Identity through a combination of blockchain-based identity management and established authentication protocols.
