MyID is a Self-Sovereign Identity (SSI) platform developed by IT Fintech in Moldova, launched in 2021. The platform implements standards defined by eIDAS 2.0 for electronic identity wallets and combines traditional document verification with digital credentials. The core technical infrastructure consists of a mobile wallet for storing personal documents, and MyIDHub - a web agent application that enables organizations to issue, verify and securely store digital documents using blockchain technology and Trust over IP-compliant solutions.

The platform's key features include:

• Remote Identity Verification using AI-powered document and biometric checks
• Decentralized credential storage with data stored on users' devices
• Integration with W3C Verifiable Credentials standards
• KYC/AML compliance tools for financial institutions
• Support for the Trust Triangle model (Issuer-Holder-Verifier)

Since its launch, MyID has processed over 184,000 KYC profiles and achieved:

• 500 mobile app downloads
• 5 B2B integrations
• Integration with Moldova-Agroindbank (MAIB) and support from USAID and the Swedish government

The platform aims to reduce the time and cost associated with traditional KYC processes while maintaining security and privacy through its decentralized architecture.
