Ledgis Wallet

Ledgis Wallet is a blockchain-based digital identity solution developed by IBCT (Institute of Blockchain Technology Co., Ltd) that launched in 2020. The platform's core component is the Decentralized Identity Data Hub (DIDH), which combines IPFS-based encrypted data sharing and distributed private key storage technologies to enable Self-Sovereign Identity (SSI) management.

The technical architecture leverages both blockchain and distributed storage technologies to allow users to control their personal data. Key features include:

• Biometric authentication for wallet access and key recovery
• Integration with W3C DID standards for zero-knowledge proofs
• Distributed data storage to enhance security against hacking
• Support for username-based transactions instead of lengthy addresses
• FATF compliance for regulatory requirements

The platform has seen some institutional adoption, notably being used by the Korean Defense Acquisition Program Administration for their blockchain-based bidding system. The implementation aims to prevent document forgery and enable real-time verification while reducing administrative costs. The project continues development of their LEDGIS Enterprise platform for private network deployments while expanding their SSI infrastructure to enable personal data management between individuals and service platforms.
