Summary

Gayadeed is a web-based platform launched in 2021 that enables professionals and businesses to digitize legally binding agreement processes through Self-Sovereign Identity verification and electronic signatures. The platform integrates several key technical components including verifiable credential validation, video conferencing, and support for multiple eIDAS-compliant signature types (electronic, advanced, and qualified electronic signatures).

The system's core architecture is built around four main technical pillars:

  • Identity Verification through W3C Verifiable Credentials and KYC processes
  • Secure Collaboration via integrated video conferencing and document sharing
  • Digital Signatures supporting all eIDAS signature standards
  • Audit Management with notarization and compliant archival of signing events

As part of the ESSIF-Lab business cohort, Gayadeed has developed integrations with several identity and verification services:

  • CommercioKYC for identity credential issuance
  • SSI4DTM for advanced electronic signatures
  • Giuffrè Francis Lefebvre for legal tech solutions

The platform aims to bridge traditional legal processes with digital identity technologies, with a particular focus on supporting public notaries and legal professionals in digitizing their workflows while maintaining compliance with European regulations like EU2019/1151 regarding digital tools in company law. Gayadeed is developed by NYMLAB Srl and operates as a Software-as-a-Service solution with both web and mobile applications.
