BLOK Pass

BLOK Pass is a self-sovereign identity (SSI) wallet launched in 2020 by BLOK BioScience. The platform enables users to store, verify, and prove their identity credentials through encrypted QR code verification while maintaining control over their personal data. Built on privacy-by-design principles, the system stores all personal information locally on users' devices under multiple layers of encryption, with no central database.

The platform consists of two main components: BLOK Pass for individual users and BLOK Verify for organizations. It implements a W3C DID-compatible architecture that allows for identity verification without revealing actual personal data through a simple yes/no confirmation system. The solution received certification from the ID2020 Alliance in 2020, becoming the first COVID-focused digital identity solution to meet their technical requirements for privacy protection, user management, and portability.
