AU10TIX launched its Reusable Digital ID solution in 2023, built on Microsoft's Entra platform and leveraging W3C Decentralized Identifiers (DIDs)
and Verifiable Credentials
standards. The solution creates digital credentials that are verifiable, tamper-proof, and shareable across platforms while prioritizing data protection and user control.
The technical implementation uses the Identity Overlay Network (ION), a public permissionless DID network running on Bitcoin's blockchain, along with Microsoft's Azure Active Directory
for credential management. The system enables organizations to issue digital claims about identity attributes that can be cryptographically verified without collecting and storing personal data. Users can manage their credentials through the Microsoft Authenticator app, while developers can request and verify credentials via an application SDK.
Notable adoption includes partnerships with major enterprises like Thomson Reuters, Uber, Santander, Airbnb, PayPal and Google. The solution has also been integrated into Microsoft's Azure Marketplace, making it available to Azure customers worldwide. AU10TIX's Reusable Digital ID focuses particularly on financial services and enterprise use cases, with features like automated onboarding, fraud prevention, and regulatory compliance built into the platform's core functionality.
