The Organization Wallet provides you the tools to exchange your own company data such as company information, addresses, contact data, bank account data and certificates with your business partners and seamlessly verifies incoming data from your customers and suppliers.
Summary
Source

Org Wallet is a Self-Sovereign Identity (SSI) solution developed by Bosch.IO that enables organizations to manage and exchange verifiable business credentials and master data. Built on top of the Hyperledger SSI stack, specifically Hyperledger Indy and Hyperledger Cloud Agent Python, it implements the W3C Verifiable Credentials Data Model standard.

The core technical component is the Business Partner Agent (BPA) which provides the following key capabilities:

  • Issue, hold and verify W3C and Hyperledger Indy verifiable credentials
  • Manage organizational profiles using did:web or did:indy identifiers
  • Exchange business documents and certificates with verification
  • Create presentation request templates supporting zero-knowledge proofs
  • Connect with business partners via DIDComm protocols

The project originated from Bosch's "Economy of Things" research initiative and received funding from the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) as part of their "Secure Digital Identities" program. While initially developed as an open source project under Hyperledger Labs, the BPA component was archived in February 2024 as the original maintainers stepped back, though the commercial Org Wallet product continues to be offered by Bosch.IO.
